Leverkusen Home Tickets
My seating block 124 Sir Trev, is blacked out for the game so WHU have given a day's window to choose seats elsewhere. Just done it for 4 of us and was surprised how many available, not just up in the gods. Must be a lot of season ticket holders who don't buy their own seats for this?

*Leverkusen lost at home in a pre-season friendly to Paderborn who are in the Bundesliga 2...

Re: Leverkusen Home Tickets
You can't base this prediction on one result in pre-season.

Leverkusen lost at home to Paderborn in the Bundesliga 2 a couple of games before us which suggests Paderborn would beat them again, but obviously they wouldn't and they didn't when they met again in the DFB in December when Leverkusen won 3-1.

Agreed, Bayern were the better side I thought though Arsenal were far from their best. Rice was anonymous!

I thought Bayern did rather well against Arsenal.

I'll take any advantage we can get... B. Munich have been awful lately, losing to all and sundry so fingers crossed, perhaps their league isn't all that? Be interesting to see how Arsenal get on against Bayern on Tuesday.

Defo clutching. I heard a point yesterday saying that Leverkusen, all be it unbeaten all season etc, haven't played a PL side, yes it's only us lol, and again it's probably clutching, but it did make me think that maybe the German league isn't that strong and maybe we are underestimating our chances? Regardless, we need to keep it tight at the back and take any chances that come our way.

I see that Leverkusen now only need one win to seal their league title next Sunday... hopefully a nice distraction for our EL matches. Can see them celebrating that for a couple of days prior to travelling to London on Wednesday.

You’re mental, Cough. There’s no cure I’m afraid.

You've only got yourself to blame then if Sullivan offers Moyes that new contract!

Call me mental but I've just renewed ST for next season.

Re: Leverkusen Home Tickets
Ballots are massively over subscribed.

I've got two STHs with a lot of points and another one with almost none.

We enter the ballot for the third ST most away matches. Didn't get a ticket for about 2 years. In the last 12 months we've been successful 3 or 4 times. It's purely luck.

I've entered every ballot this year, not a sniff of an away ticket!

There's almost no chance that's a real ticket - they'll sell it to you at that price THEN try to procure it.

SnarestoneIron 9:12 Sat Mar 23

You do stand a chance, but you can't cherry-pick your games - you have to be prepared to go to anything to get your points up. And you always have a chance in the ballots. There's a spreadsheet on KUMB and Twitter that shows it can be done.

You didn’t need to show passports in Freiburg. Imagine Leverkusen away will be similar.

Most STH holders don't stand a chance. I've bought every home cup ticket, so have maximum points, but not managed to get one away ticket this season. The Away season ticket is all wrong.

Re: Leverkusen Home Tickets
It may well be that some of those tickets showing on ticket agency websites for the away match aren't genuine. Given it claims you'll need to show your passport at the match it would be big gamble to spend a grand or two on a ticket.

Also I find it highly unlikely they sold all the tickets to STHs. I think Club London members and other VIPs will have got a lot of them. 51 points is mental. The club always refuse to publish how many people are on different points and it's to hide the fact that they give a % away to people with zero points is my suspicion.

These wanky point seeking STHs need to be outed

Re: Leverkusen Home Tickets
Speaking of Leverkusen tickets, I missed out by one loyalty point today for the €15 away leg tickets. Shortly afterwards, I’d heard from various sources that they were being put up for sale for almost £450!

This is the problem with digital tickets being issued, the whole system can be abused by ‘fellow’ fans. I preferred the system of collecting paper tickets from a central hotel upon production of a passport.
